The main treatments that we offer are:
Sculptra
Sculptra works differently from traditional fillers. Its a biocompatible and biodegradable injectable material known as poly-L-lactic acid that naturally stimulates your cells to produce their own collagen thereby helping. Dermal Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid is a natural major component of skin. Its hydrating, lubricating and viscoelastic properties make the face well rounded, smooth and well defined. These qualities deteriorate with age : the upper and lower cheeks become sunken, lips become thinner, wrinkles appear and the faces oval shape is lost, affecting its overall harmony.
Maggies uses and recommends Teosyal, a range of Hyaluronic acid-based fillers of non animal origin, filling out lines and wrinkles. Results are immediately visible. Successive treatments lead to cumulative effect of the sessions.
Botulinum Toxin
Botox and Azzalure have both been around for many years treating muscular problems including eye deviation, eyelid spasm as well as facial spasm. Ageing is associated with the development or wrinkles and furrows on the face. Botulinum toxin reversibly freezes or weakens muscles including crows feet and forehead lines. Relaxation of the muscles can take 3 to 10 days and initially the effect will be evident as a reduction in the strength of muscles and some reduction of lines and wrinkles. In time however a softening of lines and wrinkles is usually noticed as the skin undergoes self repair.
Botulinum Toxin for Excessive Sweating
Botox and Azzalure can be injected into the skin to treat the symptons of severe underarm sweating, when topical medicines used on the skin do not work well enough in people aged 18yrs and older.
Sclerotherapy
Unwanted blood vessels – smaller ones called thread veins appear on the surface of the body, particularly the legs and occasionally the face or elsewhere. If their presence is distressing they can be treated by injection of a solution that will cause them to disappear or at least become much smaller. The chance for a greatly improved appearance is about 80%
